Samsung‘s upgrading program follows on as the first step is to upgrade the Galaxy Note 8 with the security update in March 2019 and is already available in countries such as Bulgaria, Romania, Switzerland, Taiwan, Sweden with code N950FXXS5DSB4.
This is the first security update since the recent upgrading to Android 9 Pie, and as understood, it mainly includes bug fixes and small improvements, although we will know in detail when the changelog from the Korean manufacturer is available. March’s security patch, however, has 8 fixes for critical vulnerabilities in Android and 11 fixes for Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures (SVE) that affect Samsung’s UI.
Galaxy Note 8 is the company’s first flagship to be upgraded to the March patch of security, so we will soon see it available to other devices, such as the Samsung Galaxy S8. To check if it arrived on your device, you can manually check the Settings menu – Download updates manually.
