In early January, Honor revealed the View 20, and we are looking forward to seeing the next flagship of the company that will not belong to the View family. However, according to Chinese leakers, the moment of official revelation of Honor 20 is still delayed.
Chinese leakers unveiled the features of Honor 20 as well as a device render. Honor’s upcoming smartphone, as expected, will have a Kirin 980 processor. In addition, the Honor 20 will be released in three versions with 6 GB or 8 GB RAM, and 128 GB or 256 GB of storage space. As Honor is Huawei’s affiliate, we expect the smartphone to have Gaming +, Link Turbo, CPU Turbo, and GPU Turbo, all of which are technologies that enhance the performance of the device in one way or another.
As for the back side, and according to the leaked render, we expect the Honor 20 to have three cameras, the main one being at 48MP, the secondary at 20MP and the third at 8MP. However, the type of two additional cameras is not yet known. However, according to the leakers, Honor 20’s back cameras will score 108 at DxOMark. If that is the case, Honor’s new flagship will be right behind Huawei, Mate 20 Pro, P20 Pro and Samsung Galaxy 10+.
Although Huawei announced the 40W fast charging, the Honor 20 will remain with the 22.5W SuperCharge technology. The smartphone will have a 3.650 mAh battery, and will probably have Android 9 Pie installed with EMUI 9 of Huawei, which offers many AI capabilities.
In addition, Honor 20 will have a fingerprint sensor below the screen. This theory is based on the fact that there is no sensor in the render on the back of the device. Finally, in terms of prices, Honor 20 will start at $500, and will be up to $600 for the 8/256 GB version.
