Just a few days ago, Huawei silently revealed Huawei P Smart Z, its first smartphone with a pop-up selfie camera, with its appearance on the official websites of Huawei Spain and Huawei Italy. While there is a chance of following an official announcement of the above smartphone, the Chinese company revealed (again silently) Huawei Y9 Prime (2019) on its official website.

The new smartphone is the direct successor to the Y9 Prime 2018 and has many features in common with the recently released Huawei P Smart Z. The Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 features a more rear camera by bringing their total number to the three of the two P Smart Z, while other specifications and features are similar, including the pop-up selfie camera.

It also features the same two-tone coloring design on the back, the same 6.59-inch Ultra FullView screen with 2340 x 1080 resolution, the same Kirin 710 SoC, 4GB RAM and 64GB storage memory that can be expanded up to 512GB using microSD cards. While P smart Z is available in a 4GB + 64G

As far as in camera, the Huawei Y9 Prime (2019) comes with a 16MP pop-up selfie camera and a triple rear camera consisting of 16MP f / 1.8 and 2MP f / 2.4 sensors coupled with a 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens.B version, the Y9 comes in yet another variation with 4GB RAM + 128GB storage memory.

Huawei has not yet announced the official price of the handset but is expected to be sold slightly above the price of € 279 that costs P smart Z as it carries an extra camera and more storage space.
