Huawei‘s patent-pending smartphone case may reveal company shots to supply Mate 30 Pro with five cameras on the back.
This particular patent filed by Huawei with the National Intellectual Property Administration in China does not reveal much detail beyond what is apparent from the design of the case. It has to be mentioned that its design is quite similar to the Mate 20 Pro, which has a triple camera which together with the flash is in a square layout, but in this patent the cameras on the back are not in square but in parallel.
It is true that we are at a very early stage to make any mention of Mate 30 Pro since Mate 20 Pro has not been in the market for three months, but this patent may indicate Huawei’s future plans for what can we do in 2019. We can see that the company will increase the number of cameras in one of its flags for this year and have four or even five cameras, something we will see later in 2019.
Finally, we see that there is a 3.5mm jack on the top of the device and is located next to the infrared port, which is strange as the classic headphone port does not exist in both the P20 Pro and the Mate 20 Pro.
