OnePlus 3 and 3T were released in 2016 and in June, the company confirmed that smartphones will get Android 9 Pie. Although it has been several months since then, OnePlus has begun to search testers for the beta version of Android 9 Pie of OnePlus 3 and 3T.
Initially, the release was made available earlier this month for users in China, but as it turns out, it’s time for the global version of Android 9 Pie beta of OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T.
OnePlus announced that the Community Beta update brings Android 9 Pie to OnePlus 3 and 3T, along with a new UI, the latest security update, Gaming Mode 3.0, and more.
Unlike Open Beta versions, to get the Community Beta, we need to install some files through this link, and we do install the version. However, if we have a OnePlus 3 or OnePlus 3T as our primary device, we should avoid it because Community Beta releases usually have errors that may cause problems.
