Another problem adds to what Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL have faced lately, with the digital fingerprint reader not responding correctly to gestures.
To date, several issues Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL have been encountered, which concerned camera, application closure, RAM management, and one more to add about the gestures of the digital fingerprint reader. Needless to say, Google has taken care of upgrading issues, but it is not the best thing to buy a device and problems appear so often.
The first problems with the gestures of digital fingerprint readers have occurred for two months, which as time passes swell and Google needs to resolve. In particular, users declare that most of the time they attempt to swipe down the fingerprint reader to display the notifications and settings menu is not working properly. There are some users who say that they are doing it in 60% of the effort and others that they need ten attempts to work, causing irritation.
Also, device users report that they never had a similar problem with the same functionality in Pixel and Pixel 2, and it is not known if this problem is caused by a bug in the operating system or a hardware issue, with Google not having still put on the problem.
