DxOMark has published the results of the detailed analysis of the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G cameras, which is the ultra premium model of the Galaxy smartphones family and is completely different from the S10 and S10 + models in terms of their technical specifications.

The Samsung Galaxy S10 5G’s main camera unit consists of the main camera with a 12MP sensor, a 16MP wide angle lens with variable aperture, and a 12MP 2x telephoto lens.

Unlike S10 and S10 +, the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G has a ToF sensor that helps with bokeh when recording video, as with augmented reality applications.

Compared to the Samsung Galaxy S10 + (hands-on) the 5G version accrued 4 points above, mainly due to the default 4K resolution. DxOMark gave the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G back camera 112 points, placing it in the first place along with the Huawei P30 Pro.

Great success for the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G is the score it received for the quality of the video it records as it is the first smartphone in which DxOMark gave 100 points.

In terms of camera selfie, the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G brings together 97 points and has won the top spot in DxOMark’s own cameras ranking.
