The latest version of Google’s operating system is Android 9 Pie, and most manufacturers are doing what they can to make sure their smartphones get updated with this version of Android.
In December 2017, the South Korean smartphone manufacturer, Samsung, released the Samsung Galaxy A8+ (2018), and then the smartphone was coming with Android 7 Nougat. In May 2018, the company released Android Oreo for this device, and now confirmed that Samsung Galaxy A8+ (2018) will take Android 9 Pie, along with February’s Android security patch.
For the moment, this update is only available in Russia, and it is not known when it will be available in other markets. Installation of the update can take place either through the Samsung Smart Switch, or we can download it from Software Updates.
