After the first Vivo NEX with an emerging selfie camera, Vivo unveiled the NEX Dual Display Edition with flagship features, without a selfie camera but with a dual screen.

The Vivo NEX Dual Display Edition features two AMOLED screens, the main one at the front having a size of 6.39 inches, a 19:9 aspect ratio and a 2340 × 1080 pixel resolution, and the rear size is 5.49 inches 16:9 and 1920 × 1080 resolution. The selfie camera has been removed since the user can pull a selfie by activating the camera application and will see himself in the second screen.

Inside the device we find the Snapdragon 845, 10GB RAM, 128GB internal storage, built-in fingerprint reader, Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, USB-C port and 3500mAh battery that supports fast charging at 22.5 W.

A special feature at the back is the Lunar Ring, the ring that acts as a LED alert, but will also play an important role in camera operations as more internal settings and different modes for taking pictures that will be enhanced by the help of artificial intelligence.

As we saw there is no selfie camera, with the three cameras on the back having 12MP lenses with f / 1.79 aperture and optical image stabilizer, a second in 2MP called “Night Video”, while the third one is essentially a Time of Flight 3D camera. As for the operating system, this is Android 9.0 Pie through the latest version of Funtouch OS skin.

The device will start selling on the China market on December 29 at the price of 638 euros and it is not known when and when we will see it in other markets around the world.
