Faithful to the project announced two years ago by its CEO, Xiaomi continues to expand its off-line sales network with more and more stores in the domestic market as well as worldwide.
Six months ago, Wang Xiang (Xiaomi Senior Vice President Global) announced that the plans of the Chinese company are to develop a 2000 (!) Network of stores worldwide (Mi Stores) by 2020. Several then considered it extravagant and probably as a risky move, but the opening of the 200th store in October showed that … something good is going on there. Today, the news is even better, since in just two months since, the company has more than 300 stores in the Chinese territory, and has already opened its first Flagship Store in Shenzhen.
